We don't need a Crisis

Image
After unmaking the entire Eden story, the Author remembered that there was something that he wanted to fix since his early childhood. So- soon afterwards he was shoving a rifle up the anus of the twisted corpse of a hunter in some animated forest while a baby deer was happily running after its mother... "Good job, Kayako." he said in his mind. Inside him- the cheerful and beautiful Japanese girl with long straight hair and a healthy complexion smiled. She was happy to help this kind man. Before she began inhabiting the Author's body she only had endless hurt to avenge. Now- she was finally experiencing the warmth of love and acceptance that she had never known during her human life. So- she was now completely unrecognisable compared to the pale gruesome form that she used to have. "Next stop- DC Universe- Final Crisis..." the Author sighed and with a snap of his fingers and pointing at a random spot to his right he opened up another portal. In a der...

Swift Vengeance- An unlikely saviour

The peculiarity in the Author's travels via portal was that he did not know the exact geographic location of where he stepped out, but he always knew that it was the right place at the right time- every time. With Kayako happily resting in his body he was ready to do what needed to be done to fix this horrible story that had been giving him nightmares for months since he have watched it... The portal opened up across the street from the bar where a girl called Hyun-Jae was being checked out by his and Kayako's first target. While crossing the street the Author exhaled in one long breath and Kayako flew out in the form of a vapour that closely resembled the foggy breath of someone on a cold winter's night or a puff of cigarette smoke. She faded into complete invisibility and darted through the bar's door to her target. Hyun Jae was giggling nervously under the handsome stranger's eye contact. She never had the chance to go to bars like this one and has ne...

Kawaii Monster

The Author did not know where exactly this block of apartments was when he stepped into it out of the portal, but he also did not need to know. He knew this story well enough to know that he had arrived at just the right part. Behind the jammed door to his right was a Japanese lady with two terrified girls, frantically performing a ritual before their time ran out. To his left was a possessed man who was charging towards the door with a crowbar in his hands. He now found something, or rather somebody, new to charge... The Author stepped forward just enough for the crowbar to miss him in its downward arc and then pivoted to drive his heel into the man's abdomen. The spinning back kick was powerful enough to stop him in his tracks and to knock him down. Once this man snaps out of being possessed he was going to barf like a kid fresh off the Crazy Teacup Ride... The Author heard the screams and knew very well that he was going to find who he was looking for behind the ...

He's not really all that...

It was finally over. Cassandra had defeated her mother for the second and last time in the perfect showdown to end her saga. Truly beautiful... So- unaware of the fact, of course- this beautiful comic book character was about to walk away from the scene of this epic fight bow out for good... Well... not if the Author had anything to say about it... Cassandra had just exited the castle of the League of Assassins when he stepped out of the portal right in front of her. Being well aware of Cassandra's ability to read body language the Author made sure to appear as non-threatening as he could. One never knows how somebody would react to him stepping out of a portal out of thin air after all... "Hello, Cassandra..." the Author spoke to a speechless Batgirl. "Who..." she began to ask, but found herself unable to finish her question. "Well..." the Author shrugged. "The simplest part of explaining who I am is that I am your biggest fa...

Where to throw a bomb that is about to explode

The Author was really pleased with himself. The idea to have Doomsday thrown onto Thanos' ship before he had come across Thor and his refugees came at the last minute, but it was the most brilliant idea that he has had since the beginning of his quest to right the wrongs of fiction. Lying on his bed, the Author was now thinking of his next mission. He has just saved Superman from getting killed, and in doing so gave the DC Universe a blessed time that was free from the grief of having lost its greatest hero. Steel never bothered to appear in this Universe now. Connor was probably still going to show up at some time since his appearance had nothing to do with Superman's death. Whether Cyborg Superman was going to show up was uncertain, but also irrelevant now. For a long time to come, the DC Universe was going to be manageable from that time on with villains that were within its heroes' power to defeat- until the Final Crisis comes at least... Now, however, it was...

Doomsday is Cancelled

50 Miles away from Metropolis, December 1992- The lonely road sign stood quietly at the side of the road. It was afternoon and the field in which it stood was undisturbed for the moment. Far away explosions could be heard. It was definitely the sound of a battle being fought. If one was to visit the battleground, however, he would not find any tanks, guns or explosives being used. No... On this battlefield 6 of the DC Universe's best superheroes were fighting a monster which tore through them like a force of nature- an unstoppable force at that. Soon the Monster was going to be done fighting these interlopers that had just interrupted him in his course of destruction. Then he was going to head for the city that lay 80 miles ahead of him... A portal opened out of thin air, which you the reader ought to know by now to signal the coming of the Author. Following him ou of the portal was an adult Goku. He had just defeated a villain called Baby in his world when the ...

Be Careful What You Wish For

Kami's lookout point is not really located on the best spot for receiving visitors. The lookout point itself is atop an insanely high tower that may as well have reached into space. Yet, mercifully, this most sacred of places is situated barely within the Earth's atmosphere. This particular Earth's anyway. Today, however, this quiet lookout point for Earth's Guardian and his assistant, Mr Popo was having a busy day. The first visitor to arrive was Goku, of course, who have flown up the tower. With Earth at peace for so long he decided to make full use of the hyperbolic time chamber to get stronger. Dende has already become used to his regular visits. The second visitor was the Author, who quietly arrived in the large unoccupied hallway through a portal that had quietly opened up out of nowhere. He wore a large white hooded cloak today- just for dramatic effect. The Author knew that this part of the lookout point would be unoccupied. He also knew that it was nea...
